How secure is buying on the internet?

It is very secure. All financial transactions are performed on secure servers; your credit card number is encrypted when transferred over the net.

What if I download software to evaluate and decide not to buy it?

You don't have to do anything. The evaluation version will stop working after 50 invocations. You will not loose any data if you decide later to buy i*write but as long as you don't get the full version you will not be able to access your journal any longer. However, you can export all your data in Word-compatible format before the evaluation expires.

I would like to be informed about new product releases, updates, special offers etc. but I am concerned about giving away my address.

How can I buy the software if I decide to keep using it?

Start i*write and go to the Help menu. Select About i*write ... and click the Buy Now! button. It will take you right to a web page where you can buy i*write . Alternatively, you can directly go to the same order page in your browser. If you don't want to order online you can order via phone or fax. Please see Ordering Information... on the i*write Help menu for details.

Do I have to download another version if I decide to buy the software?

No. The evaluation version will be unlocked into the full version by entering the unlock key we will send you. Of course, if we release service packs or new versions you would have to download those if you want to install them.

How did the name Right Mind Logic come about?

We have always been fascinated by the different approaches one can take to problem-solving and the different contributions the two hemispheres of the brain seem to make in that process. We plan to add a resources section to this website at some time in the future but here is one book we like (although it has nothing to do with journal writing) and which has inspired us to choose the name Right Mind Logic (an oxymoron, of course): Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards.

I downloaded a new release of i*write and double-clicked the downloaded file. When I was asked whether I wanted to repair or remove i*write , I chose to repair it. However, it seems that I'm still running the old version?
