You will probably find most answers to your questions by referring to the documentation. But we also offer additional resources to help you work with  i*write™ . You can access them from the menu on the left. For example, if you want to give us feedback or you want us to help you with a problem, click on Customer Service.

The i*write documentation comprises a Reference Manual and a User Guide. You can either download the documents or view them in your browser directly from this web site.

Note  Windows XP may block opening of help files ("Navigation to webpage was canceled") to protect you from potentially malicious software that could hide inside those files. Of course our help files are completely safe (virus-checked), so you can simply right-click on the help file (after downloading), select "Properties", and click on the "Unblock" button. Click "OK" and the content should be visible.

Note  All documentation is in Html Help format and requires Internet Explorer. Both documents are included in the i*write download. You don't have to download them separately if you download the evaluation version.

The User Guide explains the i*write approach to journal-writing and basic terminology used in i*write ; it also tells you how to achieve common tasks.

The Reference Manual explains the elements of the user interface, like menus, toolbars, and keyboard shortcuts.

You may also want to take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions and Online Tutorials.
